Simple Green Biodegradable All Purpose Cleaner
Simple Green, like many other successful products, started life with one purpose and has expanding into a product with many other uses. Long before the term green was popular, Simple Green was formulated to clean the tannic acid from coffee roasting equipment. That was over 30 years ago. Since then it has become a mainstream product and the Simple Green biodegradable all purpose cleaner is just one of the company’s products.
Such is their commitment to the environment, through their LIVE GREEN | LIVE CLEAN program, they donate over 1M gallons of product a year to assist with disaster clean up relief.
The all purpose cleaning concentrate is available in three sizes and can be diluted as necessary. So try and buy the larger size and use a pump pack with the diluted solution. It can replace most cleaners, detergents, degreasers and laundry pre-soaks. There’s no bleach so it is also non-toxic.
See all the uses and suggested dilution ratios at the Simple Green website.
Greenworks natural toilet cleaner
Greenworks as a brand was introduced to the market in early 2008 with the aim of providing natural household cleaning products at affordable prices. They are about 20%-25% more expensive, however, as can be expected, this is a reflection of the cost of manufacturing with higher priced materials. One day it might be that natural products are the same price rather than a premium.
The Greenworks natural toilet bowl cleaner comes in a recyclable container and it made from natural plant based materials including a coconut based cleaning agent, citric acid and essential lemon old. It is 99.99% natural with the colorant being the non-natural part. It is really necessary though? The cleaner is suitable for both plumbing and septic systems.
This natural toilet cleaner has been approved by the EPA to carry the Design For The Environment certification logo.

Greenworks Natural All Purpose Cleaner
Greenworks is part of the global consumer products company Clorox. Not necessarily known for the environmentally friendly products. It looks like they be moving in the right direction with some of their cleaning products. A partnership with the Sierra Club and with products authorised to carry the EPA‘s Design For The Environment certification logo, Greenworks appears to be serious about their green products.
The Greenworks Natural All Purpose Cleaner, as the name suggests, can be used in many places around the house and works on most dirt, grimes and mess. It is safe for most surfaces, just check the details before use. The natural cleaner is made using plant based ingredients from coconuts, plus essential oils. The website includes details that it is 99.93% natural.

Greenworks Natural Bathroom Cleaner
Greenworks is the eco-friendly brand developed in early 2008 byt the household products conglomerate Clorox. Hopefully the culture will permeate into their other product lines that aren’t quite as environmentally friendly.
The Greenworks natural bathroom cleaner is a 99% natural product with plant based ingredients (from coconuts) and lemon essential oil. The remaining one percent is a synthetic preservative that they haven’t been able to replace with a natural version as yet.
Packaging is recyclable and just as importantly, the products are not tested on animals.

Greenworks Natural Dilutable Cleaner
Clorox established the Greenworks brand in 2008 and now have a range of specialty household cleaning products. Many of them are certified to carry the EPA Design For The Environment logo and all come in recyclable packaging.
The biodegradable Greenworks Dilutable Cleaner is a concentrated 99.2% natural cleaner that helps remove household dirt, grime and grease. Dilutable cleaners are good because they are useful for times when you need a powerful cleaner in additional to a regular one and you don’t need two separate products. Less packaging is also required with dilutable (or concentrated) products which as an added benefit.
