Java Jackets are functional as well as being eco-friendly. Takeaway coffee growth has been huge of the last decade especially and the number of disposable coffee cups used is staggering. Particularly if you go to one of those cafe’s where if you order a hot drink with no milk or cream to cool it and they use two cups so you don’t burn your hand. Java Jackets are a good alternative and the serve more than one purpose because in addition to acting as an insulator, it also means the coffee shop owners don’t need to get custom printed cups. Either use the generic jackets or get them custom printed instead of the cups. It is cheaper.
The original Java Jackets are made from 100% recycled paper of which at least 90% is post consumer. Inks are 100% water-based and the glue used to bind them is biodegradable, non-toxic and FDA approved for indirect contact with food. They can be reused or even put in the compost if necessary.
